MB Airworks provides aircraft for Part 61 flight training conducted by independent CFIs. Within FAA requirements, the independent CFI can customize the curriculum to the individual student instead of placing every student into the same fixed training pipeline.
You still train toward the same FAA certificate standards. The difference is the experience: a smaller operation, direct communication, transparent aircraft rates, and two Cessna 172s available for primary training, proficiency work, advanced ratings, and time building.

Can I complete my flight training at MB Airworks?
Yes. MB Airworks aircraft are available for Part 61 flight training with independent CFIs. MB Airworks provides the aircraft and scheduling environment, while your independent CFI provides the instruction and develops your training plan.
Do I need to already have an instructor?
No. You can request an appointment to tour the aircraft and ask to speak with an available independent CFI. You are also welcome to bring an independent CFI you already know, subject to MB Airworks’ requirements.
Do I need experience before I begin?
No. A discovery flight is designed as a first introduction, and an aircraft tour is a good option if you prefer to ask questions before flying.
How customizable is Part 61 training?
Within FAA requirements, your independent CFI can tailor lesson sequence, emphasis, pace, and preparation to your experience, schedule, learning needs, and aviation goals. The training must still meet the applicable aeronautical-experience and proficiency standards.
How many hours does a private pilot certificate take?
FAA Part 61 sets minimum aeronautical-experience requirements, but actual completion time varies by student, consistency, preparation, weather, and proficiency. An independent CFI can help you build a realistic plan.
